Areas of Expertise
Newborn Intensive Care
Neonatologists care for premature and critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where they are responsible for coordinating the comprehensive care of babies and supporting their families through the process.
High-Risk Pregnancy
In addition to newborn intensive care, neonatologists are trained in Perinatology, allowing us to participate in the multidisciplinary care of mothers with high-risk pregnancies when there are concerns about the developing baby.
Personalized Perinatal Counseling
I provide education and reassurance via telehealth both prenatally and following delivery for the entire spectrum of conditions that can occur in the developing baby, at the time of delivery, or during the newborn period, including:
-
Premature delivery
-
Unexpected findings on prenatal ultrasound
-
Congenital conditions
-
Common maternal conditions (e.g. Gestational Diabetes, Pre-Eclampsia)
-
Common fetal conditions (e.g. Intrauterine Growth Restriction)
-

-
